My name is Brad Travelpiece. I am a Freshman at Bloomsburg University studying to become a Secondary Education teacher for Physics. I hope to complete my Bachelor's Degree by the Spring of 2013, because I already have 28 credits that have transferred (18 from Luzerne Country Community College where I took classes as a high school Junior and Senior, and 10 from passing AP Exams).
The reasons why I would like to be a teacher:
I want to be able to make a positive impact on the students I come in contact with
I enjoy Physics and have always excelled at it and have done a good job tutoring other students about it
I am attracted to the idea of having nights, weekends, summers, and holidays off so that I can have plenty of time with my family and be involved with activities in my church and community
I like the idea of possibly working my way up administration to being a Principal someday
